The Allergic Dog™ Affiliate Agreement

Last updated: April 24, 2025

Welcome to the The Allergic Dog™ Affiliate Program! We’re so glad you’re here.

This partnership is for professionals, educators, and advocates who truly care about helping allergic dogs live healthier, happier lives—and want to share high-quality, science-based education with others.

Below you’ll find the details of how the affiliate program works. Nothing too fancy—just mutual clarity, transparency, and a shared commitment to doing right by the dogs (and humans!) we serve.

By joining, you agree to the following:

1. How the Program Works

Once you're approved, you’ll receive a unique affiliate link to share with your audience.
Any time someone purchases through your link, you’ll earn a 20% commission on that sale.

Simple. Transparent. Win-win.

2. Cookie Duration

Our tracking cookies are active for 90 days. If someone clicks your link and purchases within that window—and hasn’t clicked another affiliate link in the meantime—you’ll receive credit.

3. Commission + Payouts

  • Commission: 20% of each sale (not including taxes or discounts)
  • Payouts: Processed monthly via Kajabi (Net-30)
  • Minimum payout: $50
You’re responsible for reporting any earnings according to your local tax laws.

4. How You Can Share

We love when our affiliates show up as real, passionate advocates. You’re welcome to:
- Share your link on your website, blog, podcast, or social media
- Use our swipe copy, graphics, and promotional materials (found on the Affiliate Assets page)
- Speak from personal or professional experience
- Follow FTC guidelines by disclosing your affiliate relationship clearly and honestly

5. What’s Not Allowed (And Why)

To protect the integrity of The Allergic Dog™, please avoid the following:

- Don’t offer medical advice
Even if you’re a licensed veterinary professional, this program is educational—not a substitute for individualized care. You may not speak on behalf of Dr. Meagan Painter or represent The Allergic Dog™ as providing veterinary services.-

- Don’t misrepresent your relationship with us
You’re a valued affiliate—not an employee or spokesperson. Please avoid any language that implies otherwise.

- Don’t promise unrealistic results
Allergic disease is complex. Our education is based in science—not quick fixes. Please don’t guarantee outcomes.

- Don’t create your own branded materials
Stick with our official graphics, logos, and sales copy unless you get written approval. We’ve got beautiful stuff for you to use!

- No spammy or clickbait tactics
Let’s keep it honest, respectful, and professional.

- No self-referrals
You can’t use your own link to buy products. That’ll get your commissions forfeited and your account removed.

6. Coupon + Deal Sites Are Off Limits

Our program is built for educators, professionals, and genuine advocates—not for coupon traffic. That means you may not share affiliate links or codes on deal or rebate websites, including but not limited to:

  • RetailMeNot
  • Honey
  • Capital One Shopping
  • Slickdeals
  • Groupon
  • Any similar site not pre-approved by our team

If you’re unsure whether a platform is okay, just ask us at [email protected].

7. Representing the Brand

We reserve the right to review how you’re promoting The Allergic Dog™.
If your messaging, behavior, or marketing doesn’t align with our mission or values, we may choose to end the partnership.

8. Ending the Relationship

You can leave the program any time—no hard feelings.
Likewise, we may remove affiliates who:

  • Violate these terms
  • Misuse our brand or materials
  • Engage in misleading or unethical promotion
  • Behave in ways that don’t reflect our professional standards

9. Independent Relationship

Affiliates are independent contractors. This partnership does not create any legal, business, or veterinary-client-patient relationship with The Allergic Dog™ or Dr. Meagan Painter.

10. Need Help?

We’ve got your back.
For questions about your link, payments, promotion ideas, or anything else, reach out to [email protected].

We’re here to make this a successful collaboration—for you, your audience, and the dogs who need us most. 🐾
