Mission Statement
To provide veterinary professionals with current, curated, accurate, researched, accessible, and grounded information related to the treatment of allergic skin and ear disease in dogs.
"The expert in anything was once a beginner"
My Why
My life really began when I started seventh grade at a new school called Noble and Greenough School. On my first day there, I wore this ridiculous sunflower jumper while everyone else rocked their khaki. Even then, I was not afraid to be a bright little light.
My light continued in college as I learned to pour my soul into writing and thinking. Philosophy was my space.
But, no matter where I was, or what I was doing, the threads that always held me together were my love for animals, my insatiable curiosity, and a soulful desire to be a part of something greater than myself.
The Allergic Dog brings this all together for me.
How I Do It
Life is busy when you work full-time, have a 3 year old, are married, have friendships, family, other hobbies, dishes to do, laundry to fold. But, I am in my element with it all (except maybe laundry; do not like). This is my spark that I get to share with others and a place where I can be myself. My creative, curious, quirky, brain and heart thanks you for being here with me.

My Dad told me that if I could remember math as well as I could song lyrics, I would be a mathematical genius. I still do not do math in public, but I am more than able to sing any song from the 90s without hesitation.
